Appellation: Terre Siciliane
Sulfites: 4 mg/L
Nerello Mascalese 40% - Perricone 30% - Syrah 30%
This blend is heavier than the Saignee line, with each wine fermented separately with its indigenous yeasts. The Syrah has the longest skin contact and went through malolactic fermentation in steel.
There is a great amount of red fruit on the nose with herbs and salinity. Very juicy on palette from the crisp fruit and feels fresh as an easy drinking medium-bodied wine. Definite pizza wine and can serve slightly chilled if that's your thing!
